I actually did this piece last night, but I figured I'd give you guys at least a day breather between my pics, since I've been uploading them like crazy lately : P I actually originally did this piece a hell of a lot darker... But then I played around witht he contrast and levels a bit after finishing it, and managed to get it a bit brighter... but any brighter, and the contrast would begin to actually deteriorate the line art, so this is the best I can do with it. It's meant to be a dark piece, supposed to be Goku telling Goten a bedtime story about his adventures in Heaven... or at least, that was the inspiration for this piece. I drew this on the plane to Amsterdam from Barcelona. lolol Goten is so small here... but really if you think about it, Goten IS a shrimp. You don't really realize how teeny he is till Gohan picks him up, and he looks like an oversized teddy bear. I'm aware that Goku's wrist looks thinner than should be for a muscular guy like himself, but it's a really weird wrist angle, showing the thinnest part of his wrist, and if I made it any bulkier (which I originally did, but worked my way down from there), his arm looked kinda deformed. I hope to fix this sort of problem in the future, so bear with me as I teach myself proper lower arm widths and angles for the time being : P

And because it's so dark, literally... I shall submit this as my 54th theme, "Dark" of my 100 Themes Challenge. I really need to get cracking with that contest if I hope to win! It's just that all the categories left are so dark and dismal, that I really don't do that sort of stuff. So wherever there's some really depressing theme that may have more than one way to do it... I'll take the easier, happier road... like thinking literally "dark", when I'm sure the theme really called for some bloody, gory, horror-themed pic which I really really have no intention of ever doing.

Back to this pic though.... This is the last of my pics I'll be uploading from my trip, until *allymcbeal18 scans the pictures I made for her (I NEED THEM BIG, ALLY, big big big, so I can work with them) and until ~JoSav (DITTO JOSAV!) scans the awesome Goten/Oolong pic I made for her.

Oh yeah, and this pic is actually BEST seen when in the dark. It's designed to be seen in the dark with the lights off.
