Without reference, it's actually a lot tougher to work with a dual light source than I had imagined. One's coming from the candles (in the hypothetical universe in which candles can give enough light to light someone from that distance) and one's coming from a stained glass window of an angel, whose wing oh so conveniently falls upon Kaworu's back!

I finished reading as much as I could of Neon Genesis Evangelion, and there are a LOT of differences between the anime and manga, ESPECIALLY regarding the relationship between Shinji and Kaworu. I don't want to give away spoilers or anything... but you should definitely read it. Kaworu has a much deeper and well rounded character in the manga than in the anime, and he does have his fair share of emotional spells.

I think this is the only canon yaoi coupling I actually 100% truly support (YES CANON. I don't wanna spoil it, so don't click it if you really don't wanna know, but here's a snippet from the manga: [link] and [link]) But believe me, Shinji isn't so nice to him as in the anime. I think it's because he just can't get over the kitten incident (all manga readers will know what I'm talking about).

Anyway, I didn't do the line art for this. Shirou-chan and I were discussing this particular relationship pairing yesterday, and she surprised me with the line art today!!!!! ((([link])))

Since she has been recently working on coloring a piece of mine, and I was dying to get my paws on the line art to get my fair share of yaoi frustration (good frustration, for once, omg) out... it worked out perfectly that we ended up doing a sort of art trade.

EDIT: And because I can (since this particular part is my own touch), I'll submit this as my 100 Theme "Through the Fire"... even though it's not technically through the fire you see them, but the fire is technically what is giving the most light on them, so through the fire's ... light.... you see them O_o Okay it's a stretch but come on, I'm way past the halfway point, and it's "challenge"ing to connect pics with themes
