Gift art for a friend. This took WAAAAAY WAAAY too long. I've been working on this for a few hours every single day for a week. No joke. Ever since I got my tablet back, this is the first thing I worked on. Photoshop CS2 HATES this piece, by the way. Just today, crashed 9 times trying to do the fire. And in all the other days, the fire was just a dead-zone... if I even attempted it, Photoshop would eat me. Alive. I had to save literally every 2 minutes when working on the background. You'd think it was simple enough, but the particular brush settings I was using were making it constantly gurgle with pinwheels of death. Needless to say, though the piece was made with lots of love... I'm SO glad to be done with it rofl.

The chidori is purposely small and distorted... I didn't really know how to capture a 'hesitant' chidori, so I opted to do one that's small, malformed, and not yet a threat. Sasuke's meant to be internally debating it. And Naruto well.... he's always been blinded by his feelings, hasn't he? : P
