Yes, Madara..... I figured out the truth behind Sai.... long ago. My theory is that Itachi was never Sasuke's real brother. His real brother, still unnamed, but of remarkable(!!!!) resemblance that should NOT be disregarded:



Sai, I officially fandub your name as the "real Itachi".

Comments, anyone?

Yes. And Leia kissed Luke in Empire Strikes Back, and that french went way farther than Konohamaru's joke, so using the "incest" reason because of Konohamaru doesn't count as an argument to sway me from my theory.

P.S. The "Eyes" story may have been faulty as well. Itachi learned everything about mangekyou and the eternal mangekyou from Madara himself. Would Madara really have told Itachi the one way for him to become as, if not MORE powerful than he? Madara isn't stupid. There was a twist to the tale we dont know about yet, and Itachi never understood.

How did Itachi SHOW Sasuke Madara's life and childhood anyway? Those images of Madara and of his younger brother... were most likely images that Madara himself showed Itachi. You also have to wonder if he manipulated some of that, or edited parts out to make a different story than what actually happened.

P.P.S. I actually didn't edit Sai's bangs at all, believe it or not. They fell in the exact same position as Sasuke's. I merely made them longer when I superimposed Sasuke's hair over him. Don't believe me? view original image: [link]

Also, a NEW theory I came up with:

What if SASUKE is actually not related to Fugaku and Mikoto, but both he and Itachi think he is? Like, itachi is -really- the son of them, and that's why fugaku paid more attention to itachi than sasuke.... but they had adopted sasuke because they knew he was important for some reason, and that's also why itachi let him live, because madara told him to let him live and gave him a story to go by. What if Sasuke and Sai were BOTH orphans when they were infants, and Sasuke was the one adopted.... and Sai was the one sent to Root..
